Our Founder
Shilpi Gupta
Shilpi Rachit Gupta is an educator who became a leader, a strategist who grew into a system-builder, and today stands as a catalyst for change in India's school transformation movement.
Her journey began in 2001, inside a classroom—armed with chalk, conviction, and a deep belief that the future of any school rests in the hands of strong, empowered teachers. What started as a passion for teaching evolved into a 24-year-long mission to strengthen the very foundation of Indian schooling: its educators.
Over the next two decades, Shilpi took on multiple roles—from Headmistress and Academic Head to leading the Learning and Development function for 62+ schools under a national education network. She trained over 7,000 teachers, mentored 300+ school leaders, and developed
500+ classroom-ready training modules grounded in practice, purpose, and pedagogy.
In 2023, she founded CO-BUILD – A 360° Professional Development Company, rooted in one powerful belief:
“Strong teachers build stronger schools.”
CO-BUILD isn’t just a training provider—it’s a system-builder. It helps schools implement competency-based teacher assessments, need-based upskilling,
and AI-guided teaching practices that make classrooms more responsive, engaging, and future-ready.
A lifelong learner herself, Shilpi holds a Master’s in English, a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Education, an MBA in Marketing & Finance, and prestigious certifications from
Cambridge International in Teaching & Learning (CICTL) and Educational Leadership (CICEDL).
Her vision is bold yet deeply grounded:
To make professional development personal, leadership actionable, and school systems sustainable—one module, one rubric, one empowered teacher at a time.
When she’s not designing training pathways or mentoring school heads, Shilpi finds joy in learning new crafts and finding purpose in the small moments of growth, whether in the classroom or outside it.
She currently resides in Mumbai with her family, continuing to build Co-Build into a national force for educational transformation.
